Delete your Silicon Shorts account

Eklavya Studios. This is the public account-deletion page for Google Play. Contact breejesh.rathod@gmail.com.

Delete inside the app

  1. Open Silicon Shorts and sign in with the Google account you want removed.
  2. Swipe to Preferences.
  3. Tap Delete account and cloud data. You can start from the account card or from the Legal section.
  4. Optionally check “Also erase bookmarks stored on this phone”, then confirm.

We delete the Firebase Authentication user and the Firestore document that holds bookmarks, language, theme, reading format, and notification settings. This does not delete your Google account. If Google requires a fresh sign-in, the app asks you to confirm and then deletes the Silicon Shorts account. Public news cached on the phone can remain until you clear storage or uninstall.

Delete by email

If you cannot open the app, email breejesh.rathod@gmail.com from the Google account address used in the app. Use the subject “Delete my Silicon Shorts account”. We delete the same cloud data within 30 days and reply when it is done. We may ask you to confirm you control the address.

What deletion does not remove

Uninstalling the app does not delete the cloud profile. Deleting the cloud profile does not delete your Google account. Public news stories are not part of your account. Backup systems may hold an encrypted copy for a short residual period. Guest use without sign-in creates no cloud account. Clear the app's storage or uninstall to remove guest data on the device.
